After accepting the project you will receive from me within a maximum of 5 workdays the code.

Do you also adjust the code after delivery?

As soon as you have received the code and you notice something doesn't work as it should then I will adjust the code free of costs until it works correctly. If the needed adjustment is different then the original received design or content by TURBOHTML a small additional fee will be asked before starting to make the changes.

Can you also make a webdesign for me?

XHTML & CSS Code

How do you define a new page?

When you want to have more pages converted to code every page where the layout or content is different will be counted as a new page. If you place an order with more then 1 page you will receive a discount, see "Payments / Do you also give discounts?"

I want to have a complex design converted, does such a page count as 1 page?

A complex design is when the design has for example more then one background placed on top of each other, when transparent images have been used and/or the use of a complicated layout. If I receive a design that needs extra care and time to convert to code I will let you know as soon as possible. It can be that I will ask for a small additional fee depending on the complexity of the design.

Is your code according to the W3C standards?

Yes, I always deliver valid W3C (X)HTML strict code.

In which browser will the code be tested?

I test the pages in the following browsers on a PC platform:

  • Mozilla Firefox 3
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 8

Do I receive explanation with the code?

Yes, you will receive good structured (X)HTML and CSS files with 'comments' included in the code.

Do you also offer technical support?

If you have a problem or question about the code you can always contact me. I will answer you question asap.

Do you place a TURBOHTML copyright or text in the code?

No, all rights of the delivered files will go, after full payment, directly to the client. There will be no copyright or text of TURBOHTML in the HTML or CSS files placed, this also means no one will know you outsourced the building of the html.

Do you support sIFR?

Yes, I have extended experience of using the sIFR flash fonts technique and also Cufon.

Order information

How do you want to receive the design?

If possible I will like to receive a layered Photoshop PSD file. This means that all the design elements are situated on different layers instead of one layer. Please make sure that unnecessary layers have been deleted to make it more clear for me how the design will have to look. I can work with the following file formats :

  • Photoshop PSD files(preferred)
  • Images like JPG, TIFF and PNG files
  • Illustrator AI files
  • PDF files

What information do I have to place with my order?

The more information you send the better. Below I have made a list of items to give you an idea what kind of information you can send with the order:

  • Source files of the design that you want to have converted. To know what file formats can be send see above question "How do you want to receive the design?".

  • Images of how every page should look. This is important to know for sure that I have not forgotten any layers that have been set invisible in the PSD source file and to get a good overview of the functionality of the site: for example how does the 'onmouseover' state looks like for the navigation, what happens with the style of the button if you click on it.

  • Detailed description of the project. On the order form there is a field (Design details / instructions) where you can place all kinds of specific guidelines that I need to take in mind when converting the design. Another possibility is to use the note feature in the Photoshop file.

  • Send the fonts. If you don't use standard fonts then I would like to receive the used fonts. This is especially important when you want to have the sIRF technique integrated.

How can I send all the files to you?

You can put all the files in a folder and compress the folder to a .zip or .rar file and upload this file with the online order form.

When the file is larger than 4 MB you can also send the compressed file to my email address info@turbohtml.nl.

Another option is to place your .zip/.rar file online (for example on your own website) and mail me the url so I can download it. Instead of mailing me the url you can also add it on the order form at "Design details / instructions".

Payment

What are the payment possibilities?

Momentarily payment is only possible by bank transfer. Soon the possibility of online payment (Pay Pal) will be added. All prices are in euros. As soon as I have received your order you will receive more information from me.

When do I have to pay?

If you are a new client you will be asked to pay the full invoice amount before starting the project. You will receive the code within 5 workdays after the payment has been received.

If you are already a client of TURBOHTML then you can pay after receiving the code. You will receive the code within 5 workdays from the moment I accept the project.

Do you also give discounts?

Yes, the more pages you order the more discounts you will receive. The pages have to be from the same project in order to get a discount.

Do you also have a money back guarantee?

If you are really not happy with the quality of my work, even after I had time to make adjustments to the code, I will refund 50% of the total invoice amount. So far I have never had a complaint though.

Privacy

Will my pages be made public?

With each project I ask permission to place the pages in my portfolio of TURBOHTML (Portfolio page is momentarily not yet online). If you rather not have your pages online at turbohtml.nl, for whatever reasons, I will of course respect that.

Do you keep a copy of my pages?

I keep a copy of most of the projects I have worked on, but not all. I advise you to keep a copy yourself as backup on a safe location as soon as you receive the code from me.

Who has the right of the code that you send me?

You as client receive, after payment of the total invoice amount, the rights of the code from the pages that needed to be converted ((x)html, css and images).
